This privacy policy aims to give you information on how Picpaps collects and processes your personal data through your use of our website. Picpaps (we) is the data controller for the personal data collected via www.picpaps.co.uk and any associated website.

 

We appreciate the importance of your privacy and we will never pass on your personal details to any third parties without your prior consent unless the law requires us to do so. All personal information is held in a secure database which is controlled by the Data Protection Act 1998.

 

We may change and update the terms of this privacy policy from time to time. If we change our privacy policy we will post notice of those changes on our website.

We use cookies for identification purposes but we may also use cookies to monitor traffic and improve the website. What Personal Data Do We Collect?

 

If you book for one of our dating profile shoots via Picpaps we will ask you to provide personal information, including your full name, phone number and e-mail address .

 

This information is used solely for:

 

a) Registering you and booking you in for a Picpaps photoshoot .

 

b) To send you your images from the shoot by email address if you do not bring an SD Card to the shoot. 

 

c) To administer your account with us ie if we need to contact you to confirm a meet-point with our photographer or answer a query that you have raised before or after the shoot. 

Financial transactions :

 

Our payment processor is Wix and they are Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) compliant and are also accredited as a Level 1 service provider and merchant . 

 

Data Retention

 

Generally speaking, we only store data for as long as it is necessary to provide you with our services with information typically being held for 3 months after a photoshoot. 

 

In accordance with GDPR, site visitors have the right to access their data or "be forgotten" (to be permanently deleted from our database) immediately after a photoshoot and you can request this by sending an email to info@picpaps.co.uk or calling or texting 07799 093007 . We will send you a confirmation when your request has been carried out. 

 

If you are an active user (someone who regularly uses our service) or has expressed an interest in a repeat shoot at at a reduced price in the future we may store your data for a 6 month period to make it easier to reference you for the discounted rate. 

 

Data Security

 

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way.

 

All our online payments are processed by Wix and these payments are encrypted using SSL (secure sockets layer). They are constantly reviewing their technology and only use the most secure systems available. 

 

We do not store your credit card information on our own systems nor do we have access to these details.

 

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected data breach and will notify you of any breach where we are legally required to do so.

 

Accessing Your Personal Information and Subject Access Requests

 

You can request access to the identifiable information that we keep about you and to verify the accuracy of the data by contacting us on info@picpaps.co.uk. At present there is a £10 charge for this service. 

 

Your Legal Rights

 

You can cancel your account with Picpaps at any time by contacting us on info@picpaps.co.uk and we will remove your details from our database.
